Last and least, you get the itty-bitty text just above the border which says "135/306" meaning the Troll is card number 135 out of the 306 cards in Mirrodin
It's theoretically possible that, if you were to weigh literally thousands of packs to choose your heavy favorites, and bought hundreds of them, you might get a slightly higher pull rate of rare cards than if you bought the same number of random packs - but I don't recommend it, for two main reasons: Most game stores don't permit you to weigh individual booster packs before buying them - mostly because it takes a long time and holds up the line
I think they underestimated the number of participants given that it was in SoCal, so each round went for over 2 hours, and we got to round 5 or 6 by like 7 PM and the first day was looking to go past midnight, so me and my buddies decided to just leave after round 6 as we had a long way back
